AutoService Pro

The logo for AutoService Pro was already in place when this collaboration began — our work was to build the brand system around it. A blue, white, black and grey palette was developed to position the product as dependable and technical without feeling cold or corporate: the same trust signals mechanics already associate with diagnostic tools and professional equipment.

The typographic voice stayed direct and unembellished — short words, no jargon, nothing that reads like it was written by someone who's never set foot in a service auto. Every visual decision served one goal: make a skeptical, time-poor proprietor feel like this software was built by someone who understands his actual day, not a generic tech startup.

The Meta Ads infrastructure for AutoService Pro was built from zero: Business Portfolio, Ad Account, Pixel implementation, domain verification and custom conversions, all set up before a single ad could run. On top of that foundation, three creative directions were developed and tested — each targeting a different psychological entry point: the owner frustrated with Excel, the owner intimidated by complex software, and the owner exhausted by lost time.

Ad creative, copy and targeting were built and launched as a single live campaign, with performance tracked and optimised against real cost-per-lead benchmarks rather than vanity metrics.

Selling software to a mechanic is not the same as selling software to an office worker. This case study maps the specific tone, vocabulary and objections that define how small auto service owners — typically running shops with 1 to 3 employees — evaluate a new tool.

The research identified a clear gap: most service owners aren't comparing feature lists, they're escaping chaos. They've outgrown notebooks and spreadsheets but are wary of complex, expensive software they'll only half-use. The winning message had to validate that frustration without talking down to them, and prove simplicity instead of just claiming it.

Three messaging directions were tested against this audience — leading with frustration, leading with simplicity, and leading with time — each calibrated to a different stage of readiness to switch. The campaign's language deliberately avoids software terminology in favour of garage language: devize, programări, istoric, RAR — words a service owner already uses every day.
